Men's Soccer Plays to Draw

Schnecksville, Pa.- The Men's soccer team hosted Northampton Community College on Thursday.
After a scoreless first half, First year Anton Parke found the back of the net off an assist by Ian Cruz a few minutes into the second. The goal advantage would last through most of the period before the Spartans tied things up at the 87 minute mark. Cougars goalie Jonathan Perloni had his work cut for him today as he made 12 stops through 110 minutes of play. The game remained tied through two periods of overtime despite Northampton's three scoring attempts.
Northampton is now 4-1-1 overall, 2-1-1 in the region and 1-0-1 in the conference.
Lehigh Carbon is now 2-4-2 overall, 1-3-1 in the region and 1-2-1 in the conference.
Next the Cougars host Salem Community College on Saturday, September 24th at 12 noon.
