BLACKWOOD, NJ- In a dominating performance, Lehigh Carbon defeated Camden County College with a final score of 13-1 in the first game of a doubleheader on Tuesday. The Cougars offense was firing on all cylinders, racking up 16 hits and scoring in every inning except the first.
The standout performers for Lehigh Carbon included Kassandra Aquino (Coplay, PA/Whitehall), who had three doubles, and sophomore Olivia Stofflet (Kutztown, PA/Northwestern Lehigh), who contributed three RBIs.
On the pitching side, Mia Snyder (Lehighton, PA/Lehighton) was outstanding for the Cougars, going five innings and only allowing one run on five hits while striking out seven batters.
In game two Lehigh Carbon defeated Camden County College with a final score of 8-3.
